Christ Temple welcomes our new pastor, Elder Don Williams, Sr.  Elder Williams comes to Christ Temple Cathedral from Plainview Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He has been married to Patricia Williams for 41 years.  They have two sons, Don Jr., and Phillip Williams, and three grandchildren, Braxton, Peyton and Justyce.
 
Elder Don Williams has been a member of the Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. his entire life.  He has pastored over 25 years and has served in every level within COCHUSA denomination over 35 years.
 
Elder Williams’ favorite scripture is “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
 
Elder Williams received his education through Gary, Indiana public schools and Purdue University.  He continued his education through training, conferences, and biblical studies from various sources.
 
He is a man that loves Jesus, his family, his church, and his friends.  Elder Williams’ continued prayer is that “All men come to know Jesus”.
